I’d like to thank you for taking the time out to visit my site and I truly hope you enjoy my posts, stories and advice I give out on travelling.
My name is Finlay Kent and I am a full-time traveller and part-time writer for a local magazine.
I have always had a huge interest in exploring and travelling which really stemmed from my parents who took me on some amazing adventures as a child and ever since I’ve had ‘the bug’ and spent the majority of my adult life chasing the dream.
When I started this blog, it was easy to come with the name. Travelling, to me, equals freedom. Freedom to go where ever you want, do whatever you want and do it whenever you want. Because of my thinking around this, freedom is something which in my eyes should always come first, otherwise, if you don’t have the freedom to do what you want, then how are you supposed to enjoy life if you’re not doing what you want to do?
To cut a long story, I absolutely freakin’ love travelling the world. It’s an amazing place and I’ve visited some fascinating places around the world but one thing I will say, the UK is undervalued for the beauty that you can find on these shores. That doesn’t mean I don’t love getting on a plane and heading off to pastures new, or in many cases, pastures already visited.
I love writing about anything and everything travel related, I also accept guest contributions, or guest posts, whatever you call them.
